This is gonna be an insanely busy week
I have to finish a short story for a waiting antho, do a novel critique AND a short story critique (all of which means MMM gets put on the back burner for the week because I have that pesky day job, as well), edit Ep 104 and get it up, record Ep 105, and get my old Brother sewing machine in the mail to a friend. The goal is to get everything done this week so when the actual weekend rolls around, I can sit out by the pool with my laptop and, oh, I dunno, just *write* for a change.
On the plus side, at least all the backyard flower beds are now weeded, fertilized, and mulched, the new hose hanger and new hose are up on the side of the house, and I have lawn patch spread on most of the bare spots. I still need to spread mulch around the pump-hiding hedge next to the pool, and the front hedges needs to be mulched and topsoil and patch spread on the big bare spots (I told Lyndon I'm recruiting him for that, not so much as yard labor but as someone to watch my back so that A Certain Ancient Neighbor can't sneak up behind me again and pat my butt. That was...offputting).
The fun never stops around Chez Fletcher...
