Sov hadn't seen Tony for a few days, so they stuck their head through the open door. "Tony?"

What was that noise?

That would be Executioner's Doctrine, Sov. It was relaxing and violent. Perfect for a teenage boy.

Tony grumbled something about the system being too slow before looking over at the door. "Oh, hey Sov."

"Hi." Sov entered the room. "What are you doing?"

"Beating this game for the fifth time," Tony replied with a far too proud little grin.

Sov squinted at the screen. "What kind of game?" They took a seat next to Tony. "By the way, your hair is pink." No, they didn't think this was news to Tony, but you never knew.

"Trust me, I know." Damn you, Ramona. "It's about this guy who is the descendant of an assassin and some really silly stuff about genetic memories, but it's pretty fun."

Fun now. Just wait until someone hired an assassin to kill him.

"Why is your hair pink? And it's a story then, not a game?" Please answer the questions while killing people in a game, Tony.

"Ramona and I made a deal that if she had her normal hair color, she could dye my hair," Tony replied with a sigh. "Never make a deal with her. She's evil."

And hey now, he was just going to have his little assassin take a seat in the crowd so as to not be noticed.

"Or you made a stupid deal," Sov replied. "Can I try?" they added, reaching for the controls. No, they didn't understand what it was about.

Tony glanced from Sov to the controller for a moment before shrugging and offering it over. "It takes a little getting used to," he warned.

Sov nodded, and started pressing buttons, but before they had actually figured anything out the character they were attempting to control lay dead on the ground on the screen.

"Why are they killing each other?"

"Well, you're supposed to be sneaking around in the game. If they find you--" Well, look at the screen. "I've got some easier games if you want to try them."

"That might be better," Sov replied. "Do you play this a lot?"

It was an odd kind of game.

"A few times," Tony replied, rolling on off the bed to find another game. "Lego Space Battles sound okay?"

He had odd taste in games.

"Sure," Sov said, then added, after a pause: "Are they all about killing people?"

"Well... a lot of them, yeah." He hadn't really thought about it. "This one is more running around in space."

As a lego.
