Guess who got here first. It was probably a huge shock.

"Hi. You hurt your nose," Topher announced.

This was totally how to greet people in his world.

Billy was still flailing internally at the thought of spending the evening with Tony and Warren (and Topher really, but he counted in a different kind of way). Thankfully, he was a little less worried about doing something stupid when he came in behind Topher and heard what he said. "Uh, hi," he said instead.

Warren was fashionably running slightly behind the other guys today, okay? That was why he was the last guy to drag himself through the door, looking a bit tired and sporting a few mangled feathers that he hadn't gotten around to preening just yet.

And totally willing to jump on someone else for being damaged goods before anyone could notice, thank you.

"Who hurt what?" A beat. "I brought popcorn."

Those thoughts weren't mutually exclusive at all.

Warren was a cruel person to throw him under the bus. Billy wouldn't do that.

"Popcorn is good!" Tony said, touching his nose. "I got in a fight."

Most of them should understand what that meant. And not ask for detail like, 'With who?' or 'Where?'

"With the claw guy," Topher confirmed, nodding. Stephanie had been very helpful. "But you won, right?"

He resisted the urge to come up closer and peer at Tony's nose like a weirdo.

"I think being up for this is a sign of winning." Because he couldn't say that Tony would never lose, duh. "I feel like I should have gotten punched on my way over here to fit in."

"Maybe it's for the best that you weren't," Warren offered. "I mean, if we're all sitting around looking like we won a fight against a bus," or the Golden Gate Bridge, "it'll make for a pretty sorry movie night, I think."

"Yeah," he agreed, flopping on Tony's bed. Subject change time! "So what're we watching, anyway? Anything good?"

Billy smiled as he took a seat next to Topher (ON TONY'S BED OH GOD NO ONE WOULD EVER BELIEVE HIM). "Or, you know, so bad it's good?"

"Meta for Tron: Legacy," Tony said, beaming. Expect to hear bitching about how nothing in it is accurate, guys.

And possibly giving Tony ideas.

"Awesome," Topher said, grabbing a handful of Warren's popcorn. "The armor in that movie is the coolest ever."

"It might be cool but I still don't know how functional it'd be," Billy said. "Then again, looking cool is kind of half the battle."

"I could make it functional!" A beat. "Maybe for something under then suit..."

Because he totally needed to be around while Tony was doing his smithing thing.
