(no subject)
wow...it's been a while.
here's an update:
spring break was awesome. colorado is so beautiful, and being out west inspired a road trip across the west next summer. jamey and i will (hopefully) be hitting up wyoming, where we will pick up some new friends, see yellowstone while out there, swing around to the grand tetons (think they're in northern cali), then to the grand canyon, back to wyoming to drop off friends, then back home. anyway it's a year and some away, but it's in the works.
summer plans are looking awesome. mexico june 1-8; beach trip with the girls (cannot wait!!) june 11-? (a week i think)
then (drumroll) i got accepted to this week long program at Yale University june 25-july 1. dude, i'm going to school where rory gilmore goes!! i'm totally staying in the dorms and being taught by Yale profs, so i am gonna be a yale student for a week.
That's the newest news, and i'm pretty pumped about it. only bad part: it falls on a week i was gonna be at the beach with church. sadness. but i guess i can sacrifice one of my 5 beach trips to go to freakin yale.
jamey has been fussing at me for living in the future too much and not in the present. okay, i will get more present: i have a haircut in 2 weeks and a maylene show the night after that (p.s. lee shaved his face, but still has the hair...he looks beautiful, like a lovely young woman haha no not really!!). that's as present as i can possibly get. unless you count grading the 50 papers i will have to grade after they are due on wednesday....
