Aww, my dad used to have a Shar-Pei (a rescued one), but he got cancer. :( :( :(

It doesn't matter if someone is breeding healthy, fit dogs. What matters is that there are tons of unwanted animals being euthanized every day because people are going to breeders who are creating more animals on purpose in order to make a profit.

I'm sure that there are plenty of breeders who care about the animals, take care of them, and want them to go to good homes, but that does not negate the fact that they are stopping people from going to shelters and saving animals who need it.
