The world is of gestalt situations upon every step in any direction.
I use these spatial terms, but really that's just the bud of it. really i am speaking of everything.
So the left-hand man sees the duck and the right-hand man sees the rabbit but is it anything but their own confinements and disabilities that keeps them from seeing the world on the other side of the shift?
Thus we set up our camps around which animals we see and call them our isms or nations or whatever else, and every once in a while a man will look around and proclaim out of a glaring confusion about every other camp's agenda that what he is after is the Real. He even goes as far as to call his ism "realism", as though that's the least bit meaningful...
What a novel idea! To be all about what is real and actual and genuinely authentic! How distinctive and noble! If only I had thought of it first, to create an ism of pure, naive dogmatism dressed up in a robe which, to the untrained ear, may in fact sound convincing...
as if not every ism deals with what is supposed to be real.

Which realism is funnier:  scientific, or depressive?
oh god, they're all so full of shit.
"You merely see the world through rose-colored glasses."
Perhaps, but is the water ever near fine behind those shit-colored ones? Do you not realize that there is no world without such glasses? What could it mean to take them off, but to die?
As it was once uttered like thunder through the valley of the deaf, I echo:
'There are no facts, only interpretations.'
