Huzzah!
Schoolwork-wise, I am done for the week! Thank fuck, too, because it's been a hell of two weeks up to this point, and despite having gotten a decent amount of sleep the past couple days, I'm still extremely tired.
On a less relieved note, the deadline for apartment applications is only a couple days away, and the housing situation for our group of friends has been planned out: Dulaney 4, Amanda, Margaret, and I in an apartment, Amy, Hillary, and possibly Emily in singles. Only problem is, I will have enough credits to be eligible for an apartment by the end of this semester, but not as of last semester. I just hope to God this works out.
But back to the huzzahness: Ro has apparently sent my resume to HR at ABC, and to some soaps. I, for one, couldn't think of anything more fun than working in the creative department for a soap opera. Holy crap! This prospect is combined with the paid internship opportunity I found for a music website, for which I would write CD reviews, interview people, and other assignments...
I will end this post with something delightful: Ed Byrne reading Bill Hicks' Love All the People over The Booklovers at a 2004 Divine Comedy concert. It's pretty fucking amazing. Almost amazing as my Jack Handy version. :D
