7th website review: Calvin and Hobbes!

ok trying to review this website before i run to class in 30 minutes. i tried looking for an old calvin and hobbes website i liked ages ago but i couldn't find it any more so i'm gonna review this one instead. it's call

Hey,

I actually added your LJ to my friends list the other day when I searched for LJ's from Thailand--or at least Thai people. I just moved here (to Khon Kaen) and am trying to find e-friends. Hope you don't mind.

Anyway, this post is right on. I used that site for the wallpaper I currently have on my laptop, but that was about a year ago. I'm glad the site is still alive and kicking.

But I wonder if there might not be more comprehensive websites about C&H because of Watterson's battle against copyright infringers? I know that in the US he fought tooth and nail against anybody using the images on teeshirts and such, and I believe he won a lawsuit against one company that sold the "Calvin peeing on Ford/Chevy logo" stickers that are ubiquitous in the American South amongst rednecks who want to show their distaste for either Ford or Chevy.

Anyway, he is a genius--I saw him speak back home in DC one time. Very cool guy. Just wished he would have kept at it longer. My absolute fav were the snowmen strips. Classic.

PS--check out www.chipotle.com , a website for an American burrito chain. Similar in concept to the C&H one.
