Ron Novio ... What are they feeding you?
Dan left for DC today. Weird. I wont see him for like 2 ½ weeks. It was a weird experience, sort of as he was driving away I felt the urge to like run after the truck and get another hug. Its not really the amount of time … 2 ½ weeks isn’t a long time at all. Its more that I’m moving into the house and in the past … when I need a hug, Dan is just an hour away. Not the case for a while. Blech. Its really weird that we’ve been dating for … almost 2 years. That’s a really long time but it doesn’t seem like it at all.
So now I have all of this week to hang out by myself at home. Every single one of my friends are already back at school, my boyfriend is on the east coast, and my friends that are still in high school are busy with soccer and volleyball and football.
This is totally one of those times of limbo where I’m caught between Eugene world and Bend world. The thing that makes me mad is how determined people are to rank the two. Its like either college is the best thing ever and wherever they are from totally blows … or they totally miss their hometowns and college is horrible. It seems like everyone I know is divided into one of these two groups.
Yesterday I was playing with Dan’s surgery bands last night and stretching it with my shoe. It snapped off my sandal and smacked me in the face. Pretty dang funny. Dan laughed at me. What a mean novio.
4 more days until Eugene. Crap I really need to pack….
I BOUGHT THE SWITCHFOOT CD. IT CAME OUT TODAY. SCORE!
