Day happened.

I read some more Breaking Dawn, the forth book in Twilight. It's very weird. -shrug- Got breakfast and called McAlister's to see if I had been thrown away as an applicant. Conversation was as follows:

Me: "Hello, my name is Morgan Hardage. I turned in an application a few weeks ago and I'm wondering if I'm still being considered for a position."
Hiring Manager Joel: "Oh, hello Morgan. Say, could you come in later today? I want to talk with you about a couple more things."
Me: "Certainly. Is three okay?"
Joel: "Yeah, that'd be great." Etc.

So I went on with my day, calling Noah, Austin's friend the mechanic, about fixing my car. He said he'd be out Tuesday when I called him Monday. Never showed. When I called him that evening, he set the date for Saturday morning. When I called at noon today, he said between two and three. -sigh- So at 2:45, I headed to my McAlister's meeting, frustrated about Noah since I wanted my car working.

Joel mostly wanted to see if I was a hire and run. He wanted me to stick around in the fall when school started and summer was over, and  assured him of that, explaining my school schedule and such. So then he was debating on a date, I though to myself about Wednesday morning, before it opened for training, and he told me nine Wednesday. I swear I'm psychic at times. Then I went home and waited for Noah. He showed around four. We worked on my car for about two hours, making me feel better. I ran errends, paid the boy and his friend, got stuff for dad, and then went to Jason's Deli and the movie Duplicity with Jenny, which was fun. I'm very full, and the movie was pretty funny. Confusing at first, but comedic. So yeah! Not a bad day, all things considered. I got cranky doing the errends, and then asked myself why, and got happy again.

Oh! And I locked myself out of my car at the bank, but luckily I'd left the back unlocked, which I rarely do, letting me into my car. Praise the heavens. That's what I get for being cranky after a good day. I swear it won't happen again. I'd just gotten him fixed, and then I screw myself over again. -shakes head- No thanks. Anyway, that's the game! It cost me a few hours, some irritation, and seventy bucks. -sigh- Oh well. I'll know next time. Hurrah! I have a job and working car!
