(no subject)
I am so unbelievably behind on my days. I make plans for thursday/friday thinking they are much later this week. Stupid nursing school. Stupid fucking care plans.
So my Nursing Student On Call/First Aid Station was last week at Realms Con. Wow. There are no words to describe the craziness there. I haven't been to a con since 2003 but considering the years that have past, this one didn't seem that different. Smaller sure, but thats the only difference. You still had the crazy fangirls/fanboys, the "out of touch with reality" crazies, the artists, and well, everyone else. It was an easy professional point though.
I only had basic first aid cases while I was there, but apparently 15 minutes after I left they was an actual emergency. I was very disappointed, and my fellow nursing student was not amused that she was alone. It was 3 in the fucking morning, I was only going to stay from 6-8. I earned the right to leave dammit.
I've seen Zombieland twice now. Still very amusing the second time around, but thats not really too shocking.
Midterm simulation coming up in 2 weeks. I WILL NOT FAIL THAT!! I will seriously go homicidal if that happens and this lj entry will be used against me in court but I don't give a shit. I can't fail this!!!
