I just had a haircut, though. I might have to wear a wig. But it would be worth it, for the pom poms. You're a genius to suggest it. It would be perfect, though, if you joined me.

Not drinking that much. Not tonight, anyway. Just enough to make me giggle. You're such a mothering person - marry me?

I was thinking about that, as Tales. Yes. We're physical manifestations of memories, or is there something more? Some days are sad, some days are happy, it's all relative and even the worst circumstances fade over time. The trick is to tolerate these changes, without being affected. Too bad I haven't learned that trick very well.

A wig would do very nicely on you. I'd go with blonde, call me prejudice, but when I think of pom poms, I think of blondes. Oh, no no no...If I even attempted to keep up with you, I'd throw out my back. I don't have it in me anymore, this body is getting old.

Just making sure you know what to do, just in case. Get us tickets to Vegas and you have a yes.

I'd like to think there is something more. Surely Geppetto didn't have my hips, hmph! But I do understand what you mean, and I have questioned it myself. But I have just come to embrace the fact that we are here, again, memories and something more.

Blond it is. I'll be gloriously stuck up and full of myself. You're younger than I am, love. Don't worry, I'll take care of you.

And thank you for taking care of me. Do you think I'm joking?

Words, words, words.

I will join you on one condition, that all my clothes may remain unwrinkled and touching at least some part of my body...for modesty's sake.

I am only happy to do so. Did you think I was?

Fodder, Fodder, Fodder. [A very lovely, devilish, smiley face]

Deal. But what about your nightgown?

How does this weekend sound to you?

NI!

I'm sure we can figure that out when we come to it.

This weekend is looking absolutely clear. I say it's a go.

Miles can hook us up with a really nice hotel out there - I'll give him a ring. And then buy one for you.

I'll arrange for us to take the mirror to L.A. and from there, fly out to Las Vegas. It'll be less expensive that way.

Fabulous. Silver or gold? These things must match, you know.

It seems that you have everything planned. Is there anything I can do to assist?

I'll leave that up to you. Personally, I'd prefer a simple band.

I don't want to hog the show - would you like to choose the rings? Or maybe, decide on what sort of entertainment we'll amuse ourselves with on our honeymoon?

As do I, diamonds always seemed so over-the-top.

How about two simple, golden bands...and you choose our entertainment. Remember, Darling, keep it Pg-13.

Great minds think alike.

Tell me why didn't we do this sooner?

Is Cirque du Soleil too risque for you? There's a show with Rat Pack impersonators that I've always wanted to see.

I do belive that somewhere along the way, we stopped thinking alike and started thinking the same. The late 90's, most likley.

I was just about to ask you that, Darling.

Then we will attend both and have a marvelous time!

I think you're right - just about the same time our hair began turning gray.

Well, that will be remedied soon enough.

I'll go on line an make our reservations. Is there anything else you would like to do?

Ah ah, just about the time your hair started turning gray. Mine is still gloriously red, and vibrant.

Indeed it will, and a good thing at that too.

Of course there is: We should find the best damn ice cream store out there and share the biggest thing they have...for old time's sake.

And so natural looking, as well!

Do you think so?

I love it. I'll buy a round of ice cream for everybody in the house to celebrate our nuptials.

I do try.

Absolutely, Dear.

Perfect! I can see the large quantity of cases of lactose intolerance now, and am highly amused.
