This is the post for authors/artists for the curtain!fic and art mini challenge to look for inspiration if they’d like, but anyone can comment here, whether you’re participating in the challenge or not. You can TOTALLY use your own ideas, btw; this is just optional for anyone who likes working with a more specific prompt

I love the idea of an AU Stanford Era story, where Dean and Sam remain in contact during Sam's time at school. Dean drops by to visit Sam between hunts sometimes (especially if Dean's sick or hurt and needs some extra downtime and a little "normal" for a while).

Sam's place - and Sam insists it's Dean's home too - at Stanford becomes a home base for Dean. Maybe Dean's even friends with Jessica. I'd love a focus on the times Dean drops by and hangs around a while (and most of those times he needs to recover from his injuries, sickness, or just plain exhaustion from a long hunt). Sam wishes Dean would stay for good, but he knows Dean won't stop hunting completely, so he'll take what he can get.
