Dean, Sam (gen or wincest is both fine): They boys working on a case during a heatwave. Dean with a heat stroke would be absolutely lovely. (Brownie points for any passing mention of TEH freckles!)

De-aged!Dean! (Around 6-12 years maybe - well, at least old enought to talk, please) With Sam (and Castiel if you feel up to it) needing to take care of him and being totally overprotective. And if you manage to hurt wee!Dean or make him sick, I'll love you forever.

Gen. Dean coping with asthma while on a hunt which seems to be flaring it up more than usual. Sam is worried. Dean tries to act like he's fine, but he'd not. He lands up in the hospital. Sam's a mother hen. (would also like to see a flashback to when they where younger dealing with Dean's asthma)

Gen - wee!Dean (any age under 10 yrs)

Dean and Sam stay with Bobby while John is away on a hunt. Dean gets hurt (injury is up to the writer) and tries to hide the injury from Bobby (because he's used to hiding injuries from his dad). Only Bobby knows better. And he also knows that Dean needs to be comforted just like any other child.

** Bonus points if Dean fights tears and loses.

*** Extra bonus points if there is eventual sleepy/snuggly!Dean involved, either with Bobby or Sammy.

I'm in under the wire, I think, but if it's okay I'd like to take a stab at this. I just watched ALL of Season 4 in about a day (insomnia FTW!), and I totally agree that Alistair was sadly underused. Also, I was really annoyed that Sam was the one who killed him and thus Dean got no closure. Pah! From a character-development perspective, it sucked. ;)

I'm new(ish) to the whole fanfic process, but I'd like to give this one a shot.

YAY that you're writing it; I can't wait to see what you come up with! ;D Seriously, thank-you. I was bummed no one had snagged this one yet.

That's awesome that you watched season 4 in a day. I did that with s1 of Dexter when I first got into the show, and it's so much more satisfying to watch it that way.

And re: Alistair - I knowww. Also, although I love this show, I'm not that impressed with many of their big bad villains, but thought Alistair was genuinely creepy. Plus, his death seems to have closed the door on Dean's hell issues for good, which is just... NO. I do not approve. ;) I just wish they'd left the door open for the possibility of his return, I guess.

He was totally an awesome, genuinely creepy character. I'm glad someone else feels this way. And, hell, I am perfectly willing to open my own door to bring him back so that he can live up to all that wasted potential. ;)
