[mod post] reccing makes the world go 'round
Our first week using the new reccing system has come and gone and we ended up having a small but awesome selection of recs. I was really pleased by the contributions, (thanks bunches, guys!) but let's see if we can do even better this week, okay? So far we have one rec for the week - you have until Sunday to give it some little buddies over at the rec submission post. ;)
Basically, this post is just to keep the momentum going on this project. I hope we can, because I think it could be a great resource for us. This fandom is so huge, tons of lovely fics fall through the cracks, and I know I must be missing some of them in my own rec posts. So, if you could remember this space when you come across a great Dean-focused hurt/comfort fic, new or old, it would be really appreciated.
Any sort of Dean-focused hurt/comfort recs would be A+, of course, but I'm going to ask all you Dean/Castiel people especially to think of sending us a line the next time you come across that kind of Dean/Castiel fic. From my personal recs, it's probably pretty obvious that I read a lot of gen and quite a bit of Sam/Dean too, but not that much Dean/Castiel (although I did rec an awesome one yesterday!) Anyway, those kind of recs would be EXTRA appreciated. I really want all fans, regardless of what genre or pairing they read, to feel welcome here, and I hope that you do.
In other news, I'm in the beginning stages of planning a hurt/comforty fic challenge. Watch this space!
