oh cool! I am very tempted by this--and I'll definitely put up any of my Dean h/c fics for remixing (over at the other post). Is there a schedule for claiming? Or is it just a rolling thing--you can jump in and claim one any time? What if you claim something, and then see something else you'd rather do?

YAY! You can just jump in, yes.

As for if you claim something and then see something else you'd rather do, you can just tell the author that while you love their fic, you think you can do another fic better justice. Or something! I left a lot of the details of the challenge open, so just have fun with it. ;)

Oooh I love remix challenges, they produce a high amount of really excellent wiriting. Is this open for art as well? (won't be an issue if not, just curious.)
