"No dying." Sam says. "No running into the street, no licking the fire hydrants. Stay."
"Dude. I'm not a dog anymore." Dean protests, but Sam is already disappearing into the store. He comes back with a cheeseburger, and Dean really, really wants to wag his tail before he remembers he doesn't have one.
Dean stretches out on the grass and relishes the warm food. Sam rolls his eyes, and Dean's sure he's going to bitch about the time passing and the fact that he just fucking lay down outside a WaWa, but he doesn't. He sits down next to Dean, and Dean remembers sitting like this in the park, Sam's big hand on his head, fondling his silky light brown ears. It wasn't weird, when he was a dog.
Nothing was weird.
Or hard. Or anything. He had no responsibilities, no real memories past the last few minutes.
There's no burger in his mouth, but Dean swallows anyway. He feels a tear coursing down his face, but he can't fight it.
"Dude." he whispers, pressing his fingers across his eyes. "I don't want to be a human anymore."
Sam doesn't say anything for a moment. Then, "I missed you, you know. The real you, when you were a dog."
"I know." Dean sighs. He stands up. "We should get going."
Sam nods, and follows him back to the Impala, where Dean's just curling his fingers around the steering wheel.

But....
FIX THIS:
Sam doesn't say anything for a moment. Then, "I missed you, you know. The real you, when you were a dog."
It should be:
Sam doesn't say anything for a moment. Then, "I miss you, you know. The real you, when you were a dog."
Dean is obvs really a dog. Huge mistake on your part, but it's all good and I forgive you. <3
I love this so much! <3 <3

Um. If you say so. You can pretend, right?
