(no subject)
My mom lent me an ADD book she has which is written by a Vancouver doctor that (I think?) she met. It is incredibly enlightening, and touches on attributes of ADD in a way I have never read before. It relates some of the characteristics of being underdeveloped, like that of a child. I definitely feel like an adult child at times, and so far I've really related to this book. I look forward to reading more of it.
Yesterday was the Hello Kitty themed Hello Katie party at my cousins, with the two cutest little boys on the planet. I had an absolute blast, and it is SO NICE being close to family again (even though one lovely person was missing, shout out to the Melster :D!). The dogs were stupidly well behaved, until Reece knocked on Burbear's car window. Burbear did not appreciate that. He started to bark. Poor Burbs...
I am going to be revamping my website and hopefully including a wordpress blog instead of my LJ, but publishing the wordpress entries here as well. I want to go back to a more public form of blogging so I put more time & effort in to what I write instead of simply word vomiting. The whole reason I started my locked LJ was because of an issue I was having with a specific person, and I'm sure that problem has now passed and I'm interested in a wider connection. Saturday I met a guy I had chatted with waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day when internet was still dial up and I didn't actually know anyone else who had the internet besides us. It was wild to remember the times when I had internet friends and random people commented on my blog and these amazing connections were made. I am hungry for that experience again and maybe ready to work a little harder for it.
Now I'm off to therapy :D HA!
