"Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu" is a fil and a dorama (for the phrase sho uses I think he is referin to the dorama)
the sory is.. AKI a 17 years old girl with leukeia 17 years ago... she dies.. we know it from the very first minute.. and its her love sotry till the very end... It's a really beautiful and sad dorama...

*spoilers*

in one of the las epsiodes.. She is teminal now ( it has been 17 years ago so they didn't have the resources we have now were leukeia could be cured) and they try to go to australia(for several reasons)... she fainst before catching the plane.. and Saku(the boyfriend) is hugging her in the floor, crying and extremelly desesperate... he's asking for help... like sho says...

*end spoiler*

I see. So I guess basically Sho is really desperate to become prom king, ahahah.

Jun is such a lady killer. He needs to write a book that instructs stupid boys how to treat ladies.
Ohno is soo whatev about stuff, ahhaha I love him.
Aiba-chan would be fun to date but I don't think he'd be the type to marry because he's not going to get any smarter.
Nino is so 男前, which in japanese means both handsome and manly at the same time.
Sho is, ahghg, i can't even talk about how perfect he is.
