Okay so had July 1st off work due to Canada's holiday then we also got the 5th off due to the 4th being on the weekend. Well that sounds like a decent amount of time off work seeing how it is a 5 day weekened... however late at night on July first I was informed of something bad happening. My high school art teacher Mr. Hurt died. Apperently he had a massive coronary at church when doing choir pratice, he was their director.
Well had to go shopping for a dress shirt since I didn't have one anymore. Do you know how hard it is to find a short sleave dress shirt... ugh serioulsy wtf is up with that. Does everyone just assume dress shirt all have to be freaking long sleave. I not trying to go to a suit store just to spend an expensive amount to get a dress shirt. -.-
After going to 3 stores I found a hat that I really liked so I got it. =D Hazzah for fedora hats. =D it is pinstripe too! Then the next place we hit after that I found a short sleave shir that fits perfectly with it. =D
Anywho, my time off was mostly spent playing Alpha Protocol sice I rented it early thursday.
Here is the Obituary
http://www2.indystar.com/cgi-bin/obituaries/index.php?action=show&id=117929 Today was spent waking up before 3 to get dress up attire to go to Mr Hurt's viewing along with my brother, Kat, and Tomi.
Tomorrow is actual funeral and I hope to go but it all depends on what my body is saying since I have work tonight. Ugh,... X.x;
At the viewing I got see some of his art work, pictures of him, his family, and his partner. Seen some art that he had up in his classroom so that took me back some. A priest came up to us and chatted for a little bit and he seemed very nice. Introduced myself to some of Mr Hurts family and atleast share a bit of myself with them to let them know that he was a great man. Made sure to sign the family and friends book and it was quite full. It almost seems like they might need another book. That great to hear that he has affected that many people and gave them a reason to show up to see him atleast one last time. 7 years might of past since I last seen him but he still looked like the guy I knew, I just wish I could of atleast hung out in his classroom one last time... but atleast word got around to me to hear that he passed so I could pay my respects to him.
Thanks, again Mr Hurt for those 3 years of having me in your art class and I'm sure your doing something great where your at now.
