[Those of you that are paying attention to Gryffindor's table during breakfast will see Mulan getting a letter... Then you'll see Mulan getting more and more worried as she reads the letter. And grabbing the owl just as it's about to leave, holding on to it for dear life with one hand as she rummages her bag for parchment and a quill to write a reply with the other, before finally letting it go with a new envelope. Said owl also panicked and probably caused some damage around the table while Mulan was holding on to it.
