After 3 extra weeks of waiting, the Justice Theory professor, who has both philosophy and law degrees, handed back our mid-term essays.

We had to answer six questions in the essays, and he used the overhead projector to demonstrate one good answer, anonymously, for each.

I was quite anxious about this, as i'm not a poli-sci buff, and started to fear the worst when the first exmaple he put up didnt sound anything like mine.

My fears were assuaged to an extent when the last three examples he used were all from my paper.

He asked me to talk to him after class, and told me that my paper was the best one from either of his sections, and that he would be very happy to write me letters of reccomendation when I go to grad school.

He went to Berkeley for his law degree, so I had a talk with him about the bay area, very cool guy.
