Adrian Pucey was going mad. His mother had taken Gwen away for a long weekend, telling him he 'had plenty of work that needed to get done, and it's not as if the little girl needed Muggle schooling anyway' and he'd been alone for four days. Four days with no one to converse with. With an old library calling his name and stir craziness nipping at him. Even Spex had taken off, for Merlin-Knew-Where, and Adrian found himself missing the foul voice of his oldest 'friend'.
That was it, by Monday evening he was going batty and he had to go somewhere, had to do something, anything, but had no clue where to begin. Giving up, he through on a jacket and apparated to the corner just by the Bell Bar for a pint and hopefully some conversation. It didn't escape him that this happened to be the place he met Parvati and that he hadn't heard from her in ages and that he sorely missed female company of the non-mother or daughter sort, but he ignored these thoughts as he headed through the slight drizzle into the pub and grabbed a seat at the bar.
