Julian sends his love and approximately thirty of his best sketches in the secondary scroll; Gran found a new way to keep him occupied while he was visiting her, it seems. (Do Ravenclaws show artistic promise early?) Julian has also asked me to invite you 'round for dinner sometime this week, which we would both enjoy. You'll be shocked, I'm certain, but it seems I'd like a break from my preparations for the Pensieve trial. Are you free before Friday?
To be honest, I was hoping to speak with you about Harry Potter's party (among other things), to which I assume you've also been invited. Miriam's insisting that I go, which shouldn't surprise you, but it does seem odd for someone like Potter to be hosting such an affair. Perhaps this party is his way of registering his displeasure for the Ministry's plans to honour Albus Dumbledore?
In any case, having declined the escort of one of the Board (which I'm sure Miriam had a hand in), I'll be attending on my own, but I hope to see you there. I've missed your wicked social commentary at galas.
