Ultra ramblings~
So random toku post time~
So... the other day I had gone randomly watching Ultra Seven X. FINALLY~ XD. I've been wanting to watch it partially because of Kagami Saki.
Pretty good actually... having a similar feel like the N-Project Ultra series (and rightly so since Seven X was directed more to older audience). And this story being set in a parallel universe... and somewhat made me think of Zebraman. Haha. Kinda warped universe this story being set in... like one you'd expect in some Who setting. Dark setting... I like. And the plot was really nice...
Seven X was buffier than Seven usually looked... and I guess, the SFX was more in this because it's either that or they really playing up new angles to shoot. Love Jin's story... and how Elea tied with everything. There's that Nexus feeling though DEUS was not really a proper taskforce team.) The side characters also so nice, I mean... Takao (played by Mitsuru Karahashi) is damn adorable. I already set in my headcanon that Takao was Grande's parallel self. And the part where Takao was chosen by the Soul of Light and became the 'eternal traveller' just tickled me funny. Since after this series Ultra Galaxy was released and the OP was 'eternal traveller'. XD
Ryuhei(Kitaoka/Zolda) as Agent D is cool~ and Hassei (Agul/V3) as Saku... man why you don't have more scenes? I love their cameos~
Nice twist they had near the end, to tie-in with the main universe. Guess they already been planning on more parallel universe series to do that far back. Or just to revamp the series without touching the main ones.
And randomly... I can't help notice that the actor that played Jin bear slight resemblance to the actor that played Run in Ultraman Zero. Seeing that Jin ended up being Seven's host and... yah, Zero's human host at the time was Run. Coincidence.... but that random muse in head~
Watched Killer the Beatstar as well. So moe~ I mean... with regards to Boss Hyuuga and Rei. All my feels~ hahaha. Boss is so cute I don't even... and naughty Rei near the end was just... sweet. Zero? Heh... I actually watched the side story for Rei and Boss~ XP /biased
