If it was easy to play all three of Time Judged All PVs at the same time… I’d do it now. LOLOLOLOL. Trying to get myself back to writing…
Because now I had a random twist to Return, so even if I probably be turning this AU even with Megamax, i don't think it would be so jarring. Because I'll hate myself later when I start thinking to rewrite it to fit Megamax. Blame Ankh's version on the PV.
That aside, saw the first two eps of HD Remakes of SEED.
I do not get what the drama is about. Haters will be haters. Aside from the graphic tweaks, perspective tweaks, Anna ni Issho datta no ni remix, minor details (kinda like Star Wars SE edits), several redrawn/recoloured cells, I do not get what’s the fuss?
It’s not as jarring as say… Yami no Matsuei art change from prior Matsushita Yoko’s arm injury to her post art. I don’t see much drama from FMA: Brotherhood aside from the seiyuu changes. As far as I remembered, I barely recalled anyone making that much fuss about Brotherhood’s colouring et al. So why SEED? WHY???
That aside... what I noticed first was... Murrue's boobs got less bouncy in the OP! YES! It was seriously distracting yanno... even when I'm a girl. Seriously. And they had a scene where Mwu was fighting a random GiNN recoloured to be Miguel's GiNN Orange custom. Like YES! Because I think there was somewhere drawn that had Mwu and Miguel clashed. (if not wrong it was that time when Mwu got his nickname. As well as Miguel's Magic Bullet of Dusk) Like way before Heliopolis, since based on Astray... it was Gai that ruined Miguel's GiNN custom prior to Heliopolis. So hopefully they gave him a bit more scene. *hopeful* Even if there's not... it's okay~ And the orange was Heine's orange too~~ <3
Went to compare the old version and HD remake because got this one flist complained that Athrun got more girly. I look at the pic they post and saw... meh? Not sure from what version they took the reference 'old' screenshot, because atm the episodes out had been 1 and 2, and the scene's they shown was not from these. Might be from a much older version before the dvds were initially released. Who knows. Because when I saw the pic, the quality was so bad it's like it was shopped. Because I don't remember the art was like that. I did remember that the character design between SEED, SEED SE and Destiny do have slight difference, but not that rough. I'd recheck with my SEED dvd but I forgot where I put LOL. Seriously people. If there was any changes, it'd be more to fine detailing and making the chara design more constant. Since if compared to SE scenes and HD scenes that was taken at the same point of the plot, the art did not differ that much. Even to its shadings.
So yes, I don't get these haters. SERIOUSLY.
Back to the HD remake, while so far they don't change much of the old scenes aside from one extra scenes from both eps and reordered, add details, fine tuning etc... it was not that bad. Hope to see what else they wanna tweak. XDDDD
