Backtracking... because I finally caught up. In which I made a post on several episodes without touching much on the actual plot. Hahahaha~
Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger 30 - 32
A Liveman cameo followed by Ohranger, despite I haven't yet followed both series... I still felt the nostalgia of the past series sentai. It's not just for the return of some of the original cast (as some would argue from Decade and the AR Riders) but also for the theme and message that was based from the original series as well. Because seriously, having watched some of the sentai series so far as well as many other toku series, you get to feel this kind of bond/emotion from each of them. And because of great writing as well~ (I'd say the same to Decade but considering the time constrain... and the fact it's hard to be able to expand the AR worlds in just 2 episodes each, if it cannot fully utilise its potential... fans should give them a bit of slack really. About time.) Considering unlike Decade; Gokaiger's universe was set in a similar universe as the past series and added with Go-on's universe being able to cross different dimensions, they had it easy with the plotline.
So in a way, they don't need to first establish the setting of the past series's theme, and jump straight to the cameo appearance. Thus the writers have more room for interaction between Gokaigers and the past sentai. And I felt as if I've typed something similar to this before. 8D. But well yeah... had to still mention Decade since these two series are familiar yet different as well. Like I typed before, I said that to fully enjoy/understand Decade (well, at least to me) one needs to be familiar with the past series to appreciate the alternate worlds. (Though if you're a stickler to originals and not fancying the notion of alternate worlds, you might not be able to enjoy Decade much.) As for Gokaigers, you don't really need to have first hand knowledge of all the past sentai but it's an added bonus if you do. Regardless, both Decade and Gokaiger will make you want to watch and rewatch the past series as well. I like the Ohranger episode so much~ I so wanna watch Ohranger so badly... especially after reading that old post someone written before. Just so to prove that Ohranger do not suck as what Jetman fans would argue. Liveman too. The episode where Doc was trying to create a new weapon was so sweet. Especially with everyone trying to support him by fanning massaging et all. XP
Kamen Rider Fourze 2 - 4
Shun's second part of the story didn't really took my fancy much actually, with regards to Shun. But well... by now I already liked the Fourze gang already. Team Friendship is already so good. Miu's two parter is SO MUCH LOVE. I'm so glad the writer gave Miu such a strong character rather than just a snobbish cheerleader. Shun still had a lot to go in that sense. XD. I like Yuki, she's so adorable. Kengo is just so nice with him remaining a tsundere. Gen-chan... you don't have to say anything more. But Miu... MIU IS AWESOME. <3
And yeah I'm done~
And you know... even though I was not really that serious about wanting to write that OOO-Fourze crossover that would be my geek take as to how I'm gonna try to bring Ankh back, I kept mulling over the idea still. And somehow that mulling had several more changes than the ones I've randomly typed before... and while it gets more sense than before, I wonder if I should be writing that. XP
Been on unplanned hiatus from OOO writing, didn't even feel like doing my WIP and being random, writing on my drama fandom. Hahahaaa. I don't know. XP
