On random other stuffs that I watched...
Kiba Gaiden
Okay... finally, getting my hand on this. Though I wonder what point did they set this gaiden. Supposedly that time when Kaoru was kidnapped but somehow I felt the time period where this could fit into the series would be...very constrained, I guess. I mean... especially with Leah Dizon's character (heh~ now I realize why she was so familiar hahaha. That clip with Dokkun fanboying~) Erda. I mean... what happened to GARM? Seeing this should fit in between the time before Kouga gone to rescue Kaoru and almost getting himself devoured by the armor. Ah well... let's pretend everything fits~ The part where Leah narrated Erda's past in English was nice~
Overall, the expansion of Barago's past was okay. Nice mix of the animation scenes used in order for them not reusing the scenes from the series. And new Makai Knight, pretty~
It was interesting how similar actually Barago's past to Kouga's. I mean, like Kouga... Barago's parents are both Makai Knight and priest. But unlike Rin, Barago's mother probably had been showered by a Horror's blood and ended up becoming one which lead to the father killing her. Makes you wonder if Barago actually had a lot more interest in Kouga based on this similarity considering he did kinda lead Kouga to almost being consumed by GARO. Also another mirror scene like the one Kouga had when he confronted his own shadow, but for Barago... it was him confronting his light. The part where Barago slashed his mother's apparition also made me recall similar scene when Kouga saved Jabi.
The end theme also kinda sound like having a reference to the words in GARO~Saviour in the Dark. Gotta go look for this track XPPP
Detective Conan Live Action drama
Heh... took me long enough to actually watch this proper. Needed a lot of motivation to go see this. Or maaaybe, I'm waiting for the whole things to finish before I start. XD. But this really took me by surprise. TUTI is playing Inspector Takagi? Waiii??? If I knew this I would have gone watching this from the very beginning! XD. Then again, this reminds me I need to watch the rest of Joker.
