[What could he want? Accuse them of Karai's death, threaten to end their miserable lives? Brag? Either way, Leonardo's a little surprised when this appears. But he's suspicious. Saki's been acting the innocent grieving father since this started.]

Well, why not? Constant attacks between my family and yours will benefit no one. A truce can ensure that we stay out of each other's affairs.

[Leo hated to admit it, but he had a point. But, could they trust him? They've never had a reason to trust him before, and especially now after he killed Karai.]

How do I know you'll hold to the truce?

Well, I have nothing to gain from hunting down each of you turtles.

[Except the extreme satisfaction of destroying you annoyances over and over again. Each time would be bloodier and more vicious than the next. His hatred for you is intense beyond compare, and the most irrational part of him wants to disregard the consequences and kill you, and everyone close to you.]

Unless you and your brothers cross me, I will hold to the truce.

[He says in the same mild, polite tone he has been speaking in so far.]

[It would be like home all over again, with them killing Shredder, and him keeping on coming back. This had it's advantages, it's something like they have with Karai. They leave her alone, she leaves them alone. Even if it was unofficial.

But this isn't just for Leonardo to decide, or agree on.]
