Chapter 3.9
All of the pictures are shot for the next update, and it's going to be the last part of Chapter 3. I have to say that Chapter 3 took a lot longer than I thought it would, and I know that Chapter 4 is probably going to take me as long, if not, longer. I only have one scene organized and written, but here's the cover shot:

I think the best thing about 3.9 is that I'm finally going to be able to keep the characters and plot steady enough so that it's not confusing. I know there were a lot of confusing moments in the earlier chapters, so I took the time to write out most of Generation 4's main story and I know that it's going to be really fun.

Chapter 4.1
I've recently switched to using Fraps which is great because I don't have to crop anything manually anymore. With the start of a new chapter, I'm going to try a new style of storytelling. Rather than take the shots first, I'm going to write the chapter first, based on the plotlines I have planned and what happens in the game, and then take pictures based on that. I'm not sure how well it's going to work in the future, but so far I've already shot three scenes based on the writing from 4.1 and I find that I work a lot faster that way. For one, it reduces the difficulty of sorting through pictures, because I already have the mental image of what it is I want.

So that's my progress so far. I hope to get 3.9 out before I leave to Puerto Rico on the 17th. With luck I might even be able to get out 4.1, but no promises on that.
