Creativity as a group form

Prototype cover of a zine for art teachers

I’m in a creativity group that meets online on Wednesday mornings. We have a 6-week project going. I’m trying to make a zine for fellow art teachers on how to exceed student expectations. Short answer - find out what their expectations are and then exceed them. But I have some techniques for finding out the expectations that I want to put into a zine format and have in my bag at a big education conference - SXSW EDU, that I go to in the spring. Once I launched into zine-making on this topic, I thought of other zine themes relating to education - specifically for techie art teachers. But I am having trouble making it look fun. Fun will come, hopefully soon. It was a pain getting the darn MS Word bookfold to work but now I’ve got it and have a number of prototypes as I go through my creative dance between tsunamis of teaching and committee stuff.
