My name is Lyssa,
I'll drive you mad
in my circle-sanded Porche with watered silk seats.
I suggest you vary your tension.
Lyssa Moire
in Greek mythology, Lyssa was the spirit of mad rage, frenzy and, by the way, rabies in animals. And moire is watery textured silk achieved by varying the tension in the warp and weft of the weave.
Lyssa learned Phyllis was a good Mary Kay pusher who won, not one but two, pink Cadillacs over the years. Phyllis traded in the two pink Caddies for a pink Porche and drove nimbly around the town and country. Phyllis was well-to-do, settled down, and bought a Lexus in an old rose shade. Lyssa got the Pink Porche from Phyllis and took a circular sander to it. Now Lyssa's Porche has smatterings of pastel pink amidst the scratched metal. The texture on the auto body is reminiscent of the moire pattern. That's all I know about Lyssa for now.
