Actually, it can, for all I care. Just as a coup de grace, I came down with the flu the day after Christmas, also known as the day my beloved mermaidrain came down for a one-week visit. We managed to get in some fun nonetheless, but I couldn't even hug her goodbye, thanks to not wanting to pass on my virus. Just hope I'm better by Monday, when Winter Term

I got the vaccination. Unfortunately, it doesn't cover some of the major strains this year, and I appear to have gotten one of those. So I'll just sit here feeling sorry for myself while following the "fluids and rest" advice for viruses.

Yeah, I hate when it doesn't hit all the strains. It's still worth it, though, just in case. I have mild asthma and am prone to upper respiratory crap, so it's especially a good idea.

Also, do you have any cuddly pets? Nothing like a warm cat or dog to make you feel better.
