For those who thought the villain's lair in Skyfall was FX, you need to check out Gunkanjima. It's a Japanese island off of Nagasaki. They used to have a mine there, but it was closed, and everyone moved away. It was formerly called Hashima, but, because it now resembles, in profile, a battleship, it's known as Gunkanjima--literally, "Battleship Island".
