Received a very odd communication via Facebook yesterday, and since I wasn't sure what the hell it was, I posted it under flock to see what people thought. They pretty much confirmed what my warning bells were telling me, so here it is, for the benefit of those who might run into the same guy:

You'd actually be surprised how many people with degrees (such as his doctorate) are kinda DUH when it comes to writing something most would consider respectable english on the internet. Esp once their age is out of the mid-to-late 20's.

A British medical doctor, writing illiterate rubbish like that? I don't think so. Their handwriting's illegible, not so much their literacy skills. Methinks this guy's a fake.

(And I stress 'British' only because that means English should be his first language, or at least a language he speaks to a very high standard if he's an internationally-trained doctor licensed and working in the UK).

If that's actually his picture, I'll eat my Elliot Sadler NASCAR hat. Which, at least, has M&Ms embroidered on it...
