who else wants to look like Lis Sladen at 59? The woman's gorgeous!

I'd settle for looking that good at 40! She's so much more attractive now than she was when she was younger, when she was just moderately cute. She's also a more subtle and interesting actress, which is a big reason why.

I agree. Back in her day she was just almost _too_ cute, I think. Add some maturity and lose the baby fat, and now you have a truly beautiful woman.

heh - the Daily Star's the newspaper that claimed that Buffy Season Eight would feature Holly Valance as Buffy. They're not exactly the most authoritative source unless you're looking for pictures of minor celebrities not wearing very much.

Are you watching the Sarah Jane Adventures, by the way? My little sister loves it, and I'm also finding it absolutely wonderful.

They CAN'T use K9, another production company has the rights for an animated show (which will use the character but remove all of his associations to the Whoverse); this is pretty well known, so if the Star gets that wrong they've probably just made it up.

Hmmm... I could've sworn I saw an article about Billie Piper the other day where it stated she was in talks to do some of the newest season but that those talks fell through. Now I'm going to spend the rest of the day wondering where I saw that fracking article.

...Yeah. That would really be seriously awesome. I mean, it would make a great movie. There's probably a snowball's chance in the seventh circle of hell that it'll happen, but I would totally love to see it. (Or read the fic.)

In that case, Sarah Jane should just elbow the Doc in the stomach and tell him to bug off, she's perfectly capable of handling a gorgeous, flirtatious, young-looking man.
