[The video pops on, a little shaky at first. As Angeal’s sitting down there’s a nice view of the forest, only… a large, unusual gap between a set of trees.

Angeal sighs, resting his elbow on his knee and his head on his hand, looking into the camera rather peevish.]

On the plus side, my muscle tone is starting to come back rather quickly without the ( Read more... )

We could store some firewood, just in case, for next year. But I don't know if it'd keep so well.

...Chip removal?

I'm sure if you store it well it, it should last until then.

The chip that the scientists implant before arrival. I haven't had mine removed yet.

Let me see if I can find someone who knows it better; I'm no good at firewood.

Oh, right, that thing... How many people have had it removed, anyway? I thought it was hard to find.

You just need a dry place to keep it. A high cabinet, a wooden box off the floor, something like that should suffice.

I'm not sure how many. A few friends of mine have. And sometimes it's not that hard if you know where to look. Or if you just search for it. It has to be somewhere.

Okay. Gohl will take some, then. I think I know just the place to keep it.

How are you supposed to search for it? I mean...it's in your body, right? How did your friends find theirs?

I'll see what I can haul over. If you or anyone else needs more I can make the trip back for it.

I'm not sure how they found theirs, to be honest. I never asked. I just went about finding my own way. The chip is metal; magnetism works well.

I can help. You don't have to do it on your own.

Magnetism... That's smart. I didn't even think about that. I bet Miki could figure out where ours are.

If you'd like to help that would be much appreciated, miss.

It hurts, you're using it to pull the chip to locate it. Be careful to not use something too powerful. The last thing you want is to remove it yourself and have it get infected.

Sure.

I'll be careful, trust me. I'll see what my one friend thinks; he's pretty clever.

I'm Angeal, by the way. Angeal Hewley. I don't believe we've been introduced yet.

Good luck then. If either of you need help finding a magnet I can help with that.

Utena. Tenjou Utena. It's good to meet you, Angeal.

I'll see what my friend says, but chances are we'll be asking you for help anyway!

Likewise, Utena.

Alright, well no need to be shy. If you need help I'll be here to do so.

How long have you been here, Angeal?

[A quiet laugh on her part.] I'll keep that in mind, but I don't want to impose.

A loaded question. Time blurs all too well here. Though if I had to say... [It's a slight shrug of his shoulders and shake of his head.] about a year now? It seems much longer than that, however. And yourself?

Helping others shouldn't be considered being imposed on. Don't worry about it.

A year? Man. ...Oh, I don't have a reason to talk. I've been here about a month. Not very long.

Thanks. That's nice of you.

FFF Sorry about that!;; honoreverything May 4 2010, 01:25:30 UTC
All the more reason to help you. It's the first few months that are the worst. Things fall into place soon after.

You're welcome. It's no problem, Utena.
