[Smithy, you say? Well this girl practically lives is there, and when someone walks in she leaves her work to greet them.]

Good afternoon. [Have a faintly assessing look, Winry, before she glances around the smithy. Unlike most people she talks to today, she'll be courteous and not scowl at all. Yet] I am told that I will be able to find my personal weapons in this place.

[A-also, she appears to be holding a cookie. Very awkwardly.]

[She's had worse. Also is that one of Elicia's cookies...?] Of course. What is it that you're looking for?

A sword? [Those are very popular.] Throwing weapons, maybe?

Two katana, wrapped red at the hilts. [She hesitates for a moment-- this girl isn't Japanese.] And a length of chain, weighted at the ends.

Yes, this way. [She'll walk away and gesture for Karai to follow. They'll go to the swords first to pick up her katana.]

Thank you. [She's definitely inspecting the weaponry as she follows Winry-- a lot of exotic stuff here.] You also forge weapons here?

Weapons are forged here, but that's not my field. [When they arrive at the section Winry will step aside to Karai can pick out her weapons from among the many others.]

[She can't help but feel relieved when she sees them; she pulls them gently from the rack and inspects them, one at a time, before she turns back to Winry, flipping them deftly over her shoulder and sliding them into their accustomed place.] But you work here all the same. Do you have a specialty?

Back home it was prosthesis, but here I mostly do commission work. [Huh. Karai's action almost reminds her of Leo when he was in here forging his own swords.]

The prosthetic limbs I work with connect to one's nerves so that they can be controlled by the brain.

Impressive. [She means it; Baxter Stockman would have loved you, Winry.] Could you create more than limbs? A body, perhaps, if the brain were still living?

I'm not sure. I've never consider a brain surviving without a body.

[I'm not sure is a better answer than no. She nearly smiles.] It would be a rare thing indeed, I imagine. What is your name?
