apparently they added a second to the clock this year because of the tilt of the earth or something...so maybe it's the same year, just a little bit faster and a little bit sooner! :-p

It isn't any different. The big secert of the universe is that there is no fundamental difference between one day and the next - there is only differences in attitudes. Change your attitude and you change the next day.
