Was replaying my Dalish warden's playthrough. From the Sacred Ashes to Orzammar to all the way at the start of the Landsmeet...
And I realized that the shriek ambush on the camp did not trigger. I finally figured out why: after completing 3 of the main quests (so in my case, the Sacred Ashes), you have to leave the main area to another area, not camp. :|
It might not make sense to you if you've never played Dragon Age or if you have little inkling of the Dalish origin. Buuuut I hope those that do will understand the "fffffffffffffffuuuuSIGH" moment I have right now.
/deletes all the saves after the Sacred Ashes quest and starts over again.
Technically, the trigger isn't NECESSARY...I could just write the story in my head that it occurred but...it's nice to see it actually...happen. :| Even if what happens isn't so nice.
Srsly, the irony is that the encounter takes place IN camp. But I have to...NOT go straight to camp for it to happen. What the hell. 8|
