2. Your favorite film this year:

Okaaaay, of the ones I see... Toy Story 3, Iron Man 2, The Social Network, Kick-Ass, and The Expendables are up there. In terms of one that should win an award, I say The Social Network (out of the ones I listed) with Toy Story 3 behind it. For the most fun, it's a three way tie between the others.
3. Your favorite book read this year:
Maurice by E.M. Forster is really interesting so far. I haven't been reading new books much 'cause of school, and the ones I have to read for school aren't really the sorts that I want to read for recreational purposes. There's also Glimpses for the Nightrunner series. That made the fan in me very happy.
4. Your favorite album or song this year:

Wow, I guess I only one ONE. I thought Bad Romance by Lady Gaga was released this year but it was last year- ahahaaaa. The only one is Eminem's Love the Way You Lie. Well, I like that song. :D;
5. Your favorite TV show this year:
I have only seen the first season of Community, but I do like that one a lot.

I have never thought about that. Now I kinda feel like a dick. :D;
7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year:
Huh? Like...new fandom or something within fandom in general? Uh...I have noticed a huge amount of art for the Dragon Age 2 character Fenris on dA. I find that interesting since we don't know much about him and...we don't know that much about him! xD;; Just goes to show that a pretty face does get you somewhere. Not that I am complaining that the dude is pretty.
8. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year:
Dragon Age: Awakening was released in 2010, right? Yeahhhh, it is. :D; Well, one horrible memory I have WAY BEFORE the game came out...was when the Nathaniel character trailer was released. I have the impression that Nathaniel and Anders are the two most popular of the Awakening companions. Nathaniel sure worked his way up though, because of the trailer, I remember seeing HORRIBLE and MEAN comments- (though grumpy would be a better word, because the only tone I can pick up from these things is just "NAG NAG NAG") about him even though the game wasn't even released yet.
For those who don't play DA, Nathaniel's father is one of the antagonists of the first game, and he did some pretty nasty stuff (i.e. murdering the entire Cousland family and such) that don't really make him likable (dude, he looks like Bush). Nathaniel was away from the country for years while the first game took place, so he had a completely different impression of his dad (and duh, it's his dad). The trailer pretty much gives him a "can you trust this companion?" feel, similarly to how Zevran's trailer did.
And the comments, jeez. I remember one person said something like, "MY COUSLAND IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOING TO EXECUTE THAT BASTARD!" and another saying that, "Gah, he doesn't even seem that interesting. First a lame mage (Anders) and now a lame rogue)."
Ha HA how that has CHAAAANGED! :|
And yeah, every time a character trailer gets released, I always see negative comments about each character- and then when those judgmental idiots played the game, they fucking suck their dicks love and rave them and pair their wardens up with them dnasjkdnba.
I think my biggest gripe in general is just people JUDGING MOVIES/GAMES/PEOPLE/THINGS/FOOD/WHATTHEFUCKINGEVER BEFORE THEY GET TO KNOW THEM. Fandom, stop being so mean. AND YOU KNOW MY NAME IS THE LORD WHEN I LAY MY VENGEANCE UPON THEE!

There are two that I can think of:
- When I met littlekuriboh and a bunch of other people THAT I DID NOT EXPECT TO BE THERE, LET ALONE MEET...wow.
- When I met Lynn Flewelling and got a signed copy of Glimpses. :3

Probably Houshin Engi. I never met another new fan. :<
