Lengthy post and contains pictures
Went out with Betty to celebrate her birthday. I made her mint chocolate truffles, one batch covered with nuts and the other just dusted with cocoa powder. They were yummmmy. We went to eat at Alondra, sharing a small plate of hotwings, garlic fries, and a 8 inch pizza named after Gambino. It was delicious and filling.
We went to see Kick Ass. I didn't know anything about it except it's about a normal guy who wants to be a superhero.
AND IT WAS FUCKING. AWESOME. I LOVED IT. IT...KICKED ASS, HONESTLY. I WANT TO AVOID MAKING SUCH PUNS BUT IT REALLY DOES. Especially Nicolas Cage. I liked him and that loli. xDDDDD
We snuck into Alice in Wonderland too. It was alright. A very different change of pace from Kick Ass. I liked Alice's armor towards the end of the movie. Though that fight with the Jabberwocky- if you can even call it a fight, was lame. I FUCKING LOVED THE ARMOR SHE WORE THOUGH. I WANT IT. D8
Another good thing: I GOT MY FINANCIAL AID CHECK. IT'S 1337. AWESOME.
OH OH twenty_til_12! I saw the trailer for Prince of Persia and I instantly thought of you and your Dastan. And Church. Since. It's Jake Gyllenhaal.
SO MY INNER CABOOSE WAS LIKE: "HEY. THAT'S CHURCH!" xDDD

To those who are into mafia stuff (you know who you are, I'm just too lazy to name you all), I think you guys will like Alondra. IF YOU GUYS EEEEEVER COME OVER HERE TO VISIT, I SWEAR, WE SHOULD GO. It's a mafia themed restaurant and they have photos of the well known mafia guys like Al Capone (he actually has his own spot xDDD) and (what I really like) awesome references to The Godfather on the menu with a pizza named after it and "Sleeping with the fishes" and such. http://www.alondrawings.com/
