Gale seems a bit...out of sorts. Although that might be considered an understatement. Him...Vayu...and David. All in the same room. All arguing with each other in their own...special way.
"I am the Leader of my Tribe now. I must fulfill that responsibility."
"Please...I can't leave Jenna..."
"Devour."
"This isn't the time."
"But Gale, I love her. You know that. You've felt it yourself."
"Devour."
"Yes. I have. But Cielo and Roland are both counting on me."
David turned his face from the other two. "I want her to be happy."
"I know you do. That is why you are still here, isn't it."
No answer.
"...Devour!"
"Shut up!" both men cautioned at the same moment.
Vayu fluttered his poncho slightly, but fell silent.

*Gale doesn't even bother with the Dreamberry. He just turns over and goes back to sleep. The device eventually times out on its own.*
