A loud, angry roar maxes out the sound on the poor little device. Someone has just found out that his newly appointed Leader and their usual charge have completely disappeared.*

No, that was not your original purpose. Obviously, there are things that went awry in the field testing. But if I were able to get my hands on the core data again, well... I wonder just how much of a different story it would be.
