Special A 17 and 18 Preview
=D I watched the raw version of episode 17~ D: And 16 still hasn't been subbed. C'mon, I wanna actually understand what they're saying!
Now I know how they got chapter 37 to be episode 18 and 39 to be episode 19. They skipped chapter 24, the reason why is obvious from watching episode 16. So chapter 17 was chapter 25 to chapter 28, but they cut out all the stuff about Kei's grandfather, so obviously Aoi never showed up at the school festival. Meaning that chapters 28 to 32 can't be animated since they focus on Aoi. And since Aoi wasn't there, the events of chapter 33 would be unnecessary. And because Hikari won't, or at not yet, have her grand revelation that she likes Kei which happened in chapter 33, she won't get distracted from her studies, she won't drop to thirteenth place. So Tadashi won't have to do something or the other to get his mom to organize the sports festival so that Hikari would be able to stay in second place. That makes chapters 34 and 35 unneeded. And finally, Hikari won't be sick so there goes chapter 36 leaving us at chapter 37. Pheeeeeew, I never realized that Aoi was such a huge catalyst.
So anyways, I reeeeally liked this episode. >D I got more cute Akira and Tadashi stuff out of it, so of course I like it.
XDDDD Akira getting frustrated while washing dishes because she was thinking of Tadashi was funny. It wasn't in the manga, but I'm kinda glad they added it in the anime. Hikari's reaction was hilarious because it's the same as Akira's reaction to her cooking.
Everyone's reaction to the bus that Yahiro sent was just as funny as in the manga. Hmmmmm, I'm not sure if Kei made that face in the manga though... =D But who cares!? He made it in the anime!
They cut out the other school's granddaughter from the anime... D: I'm not sure whether I should be happy or not. I mean, I hate her and all, but still.
=O They added something about Akira and Tadashi when they were kids. We only saw a short flashback in this episode, there's more in the next one, but it was so damn cute! They're so freaking adorable when they were kids! Akira~ You look so cute with long hair! ;_; Why'd she have to cut it for? So far, that flashback is probably my favorite anime-only scene. It's so cute and it's such an "Awwwwwww" moment for me. Judging from their clothes, it looks like they were at a party or something and just left so that Tadashi could show her how pretty the city looks from up high.
Random thing that I noticed during this episode. The little charm that Akira has on her cell phone is a star. And in the second ending, the star represents Tadashi. DX YES I'M OBSESSED AND CRAZY! STOP STARING AT ME LIKE THAT!
D: I feel sad that they cut out Pimp!Jun's part in this episode. Will we ever see him again in the anime? I despair that we may not.
I felt sorry for Yahiro for the first time in the anime in this episode. DX Before this episode, they always made him seem EVIL! So whenever I felt sorry for him, it was only because of the manga! But when he looked all sad after watching Tadashi and Akira having their usual interaction I was all "Awwwww, poor Yahiro. TT.TT" DX MY SPECIAL A OTP MAKES YAHIRO SAD!
I found Akira throwing pillows at Tadashi after he said something stupid really cute for some reason. Maybe because they were both laughing and they seemed to be having fun.
Hikari slapping Yahiro on the back and then those doily like things that appear whenever there's an... emotional scene kinda erm... blossoming out was just ridiculous. You'll understand what I mean if/when you watch it.
But after so many things that made me happy, the ending made me really sad... Tadashi you idiot... He got slapped for real! Not the usual comedic hitting that he always gets. O_O And I don't think she said it in the manga, but in the anime Akira said that she hated him before she ran off. Poor poor Tadashi. D: I couldn't watch the ending theme after that. It's too cheerful! I mean, I know how this situation ends and I have an idea of what's going to happen next week, but still...
O_O Chapter 37 really is going to be animated! Words cannot express how happy that makes me! When I heard that it was only going to be 26 episode long, I was depressed about how we would never see the cuteness that is Akira accidentally telling Tadashi that she liked him animated. But we will!
Although I dun think they're doing it exactly the same way as in the manga. The preview shows some stuff that is definitely not in the manga version.
Yaaaaaaay! More stuff with little Tadashi and little Akira next week! :o There's a part that looks like either Tadashi was trying to teach Akira to dance or the other way around. <3 That makes my heart happy. BECAUSE IT'S SO FREAKING CUTE!
And from the preview you can see that Tadashi's really down about what Akira said. Sad!Tadashi makes me sad too. D: He's usually smiling all the time. So that makes it extra sad.
DX WHY ISN'T IT NEXT WEEK ALREADY! I WANNA SEE HOW THE ANIME HANDLES THIS! I WANNA SEE MORE OF AKIRA AND TADASHI WHEN THEY WERE KIDS!
