An analogy that I can get behind.
The New York Times, in a review of tonight's "Choose or Lose" (MTV,10:30 EST) says about John Kerry:
"Mr. Kerry is a bass player. He's not a showman on the sax, like that goofy guy from the dot-com years. To his admirers at MTV, Mr. Kerry is in it for the music, not the swag or the girls, and that's why he has that weird expression."
Heh. The Bassist. The out-of-focus-guy. Yeah, he's got my vote.
