Sadness and boredom led me back to LJ. We're on the cusp of June, though you can't tell from the steady rain outside. We need the water, for sure, but my body and mind need sun and warmth so I can rise up from this funk. I won't bore you with the details of my sadness. It's starting to bore me, so I can't see why anyone else would want to read about it.

Somehow uberconfused gets all the awesome memes. I stole this one from her, but she stole it from someone, so I am merely perpetuating the line of thievery. Besides, that's what memes are for.

From the outside I'd imagine others would consider my entire diet restrictive, as I am vegan. I don't think of it that way at all. I don't consider the flesh of animals as food, so I don't feel like I'm missing anything. Dairy makes me gag, and it's not meant for my consumption. Even after living with hens I can't see myself eating eggs.

As for imposed restrictions: I try harder every day to avoid processed foods. It's not easy when I want to dine out with friends and all I can eat is a veggie burger.
