making the 'puter work at nuevo rancho relaxo
We gots one of them fancy wireless router dealies, but have yet to receive our fancy new laptop. (HELLO Apple hook-up!) Instead I hauled ye olde abacus out of the guest room closet, and created a dangerous trap of cordage in my living room, just so I wouldn't feel so lonely. The fellow's working in Portland until Sunday. This, after I've only been home from my own travels for a mere 48 hours. No worries. I HATE hanging out with my significant other! HAAATE.
That, friends, is SARCASM.
The snappy rundown of all that's happened in HonkyWorld since my last entry:
* wrecked my knee AGAIN at a derby bout
* two days later, had to evacuate my old house (on crutches) because of a wildfire
* tried to help the fellow move into the new house while on crutches and pretty much failed
* dealt with the aftermath of our head derby coach dying in a car accident
Oh, and I got to see my best friend get married last weekend. So there's something resembling good news.
