unfun

when not fretting over the politics of roller derby in the rogue valley, i concern myself with the impending sale of my house (also known as rancho relaxo, the place we've called home for four years) and with some significant changes that might affect my yoga studio and, naturally, my standard of living.

being an adult sucks.

Why are you selling your house?

we don't own our house. we rent. our landlords have out of the blue decided to put the house on the market, and they want to do it yesterday.

Oh that majorly sucks.

Is there any possibility that you could buy it?

That bites! But, what uberconfused said - could you buy it? It seems like folks who want to sell out of the blue may be in need of some cash and doing a smaller-than-normal loan with a rent-to-own contract may be exactly the right compromise (they get a chunk of cash and you get to keep rancho relaxo with - potentially - no significant change in monthly output).
