zSomeone sent me a christmas card I sent them this:
awe...that's so sweet but i've deside christmas has lost all meaning...so happy media overblown, expectance of gifts, sending generic cards, guilt stricken forgot your present under the tree, corprate manipulations, addicted to the media's influance, programing human lobes to fear thinking out of the box, over dramatizing everything, feeding attintion whores, controling your wants, making cloud nine chapter 11, shame bought to parents cause they can't afford to shop, live, their worth more dead, suiced enable resonable option, bradey Buch programed family hiding truths if we don't talkabout it, than it's not a problem, if i don't recive a bill i owe nothing, hostal postman, at the click of a botton, comercalized christmas.
bekie
not that I hate christmas just what it has turned into...last year i celebrate Christmas...fuck it i'm going old school. winter solstices why? because people celebrate a meaning something that has happened and what is to come. It has more meaning to me than what society has made christmas a country that clams freedom to choose your own religion, and yet this contry primaraly rewards one religion. Everything closes on Christmas, as well as Easter too, I do not see other religions holiday taken off nation wide. People that don't nesseraly believe in God partake in these events, why? Not because it is a part of thier belief or worship, because society rewards it. They hipe it up starting in November every store in every mall pulling out the christmas decorations, commercial programed to get the kids, schools arts and crafts of Santa, telling the story of Santa then it doesn't have to be a religion thing, it is a media thing they hype up the kids parents feel regret if their child is the only one at school who does not get anything. My child could get bullied. Other people are buying my child things, it would be rude to say no. I can't not get my child anything, what would she think, what kind of parents would we be? The media scared us into the blindfolds but are hands are free if we could only remove the cloth. we could see that we only think we are free really we are just sheep. And there are so many more sheep than shepards. one subborn sheep is an anusance, if the number of stubborn sheep is greater than the ones that welcome direction, than the shepard no longer has control, the shepard is a peer, because the sheep that welcome direction will now have many other choice on whom they want direction from. But it has to start some where. Now maybe the freek sitting next to you in you english class no longer looks like a freek but a person you aspire, maybe the rebel all of a sudden doesn't look so bad. Perhaps as you look at yourself you see something you want to change...wether it is your body that corpriate America is useing for a billboard, without telling you that you are there free advertsing, you don't like being used in such a manipuative way. Or if it is that you feel pressered into doing things because it seems like everyone else is doing them and you don't want to be outcasted...If you have ever said to anyone oh I love your style, I wish I had the guts to do that, or I wish I could pull that off...Guess what you can you are not a drone you can make your own choice and if you are able to talk to a person out of your circle out of your scene than you can do it cause you are open to change you just have a fear of what others will say others will do if you do it. will you loss bussness, will i be labled as a rebel, will people warn their kids about my 'type', will they judge me before they know me...To many what if's the saying goes don't judge a book by it's cover the same should hold true for people.
Just remember that you will always wonder what if, do it than you know and know from experaince. Everyone in this wants to be happy, we need to stop trying to change the world around us and maybe change our on world(mind&body) if we want to do something what is stopping us? What other people think? No wonder everyone craves happiness we are so wound up in makeing others happy that we do not stop and take a step back to see if it makes us happy. Because one day you will look back and you might not like what you see. You can't worry about what people think, because they are doing the same thing you are. They are wondering what you think of them.
It is the blind leading the blind.
If you are try so hard to be cool than I hate to tell you, you are always one step behind someone else, quit worry about popular and then you will be popular, because after all we aspire whos of whom we wish we could be more like. If there was never someone tinking out side of the box taking risks being who they wanted to be this world would of never changed. clothes would be very boring. If you want to do something out side of the box do it, it might just change your life...And not all change is bad.
"Shall we liken Christmas to the web in a loom? There are many weavers, who work into the pattern the experience of their lives. When one generation goes, another comes to take up the weft where it has been dropped. The pattern changes as the mind changes, yet never begins quite anew. At first, we are not sure that we discern the pattern, but at last we see that, unknown to the weavers themselves, something has taken shape before our eyes, and that they have made something very beautiful, something which compels our understanding."
